Pause & Pray

This is an invitation to pray, a call to pray, and a plea to pray…would you be willing to Pause & Pray every Thursday for Texas campuses, students, and BSM staff?

ABIDE – Experiential Prayer Retreat:

“I am the vine; you are the branches.  If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” – John 15:5
Tomorrow several hundred college students will gather at Highland Lakes Camp for an experiential prayer retreat.

Matthew Gassett from Weatherford College explains ABIDE as well as encourages students to attend.

Pausing & Praying with you,
Texas Collegiate Ministry Team

Ways to Pray:

  • Pray for students to encounter God is real and transformative ways.
  • Pray for students to leave behind their worries, problems, and school work in order to focus on “Abiding” with God.
  • Pray for students to be obedient to whatever God asks of them.
  • 3*3*3 Go Now Prayer Request:  Go to www.GoNowMissions.com  and click on Positions List.  Select one of the following lists:  Summer, Semester, Impact or Campus Missionaries.  Go Now will be appointing students to all of these positions.  Select one or two place and pray for students to answer the call to serve in that place.

Ways to Pray for Debra:

  • I have been talking/listening/visiting with two students since Sept. who are living a lifestyle that they know has separated them from family and friends.  Please pray that they will continue to want to share with me and that I will tell them what God wants them to hear.
