Ways to Pray:
- Go Now Prayer Request: Pray for the parents of Go Now applicants. For those that are believers, pray that they will have faith to trust their child into the service of the Lord. For those that are not believers, pray that this will open a door for the student to share more deeply with their family.
- Do you need to be one of the 300 people praying for 30 days for 384 missionaries?

I went to college at…Texas State (SWT when I attended)
Why do you invest in college students?…Because God, as a student, called me. This was an amazing…even unbelievable. I was not the best academic performer. In fact, I academically stuttered (like Moses) and needed help. Everytime I visit with a student I am reminded how dependent I am on the Lord to be where I am. I think that is a good place for me. I often find it very easy to become a co-student with the student as they work on improving.
Students are usually in a place of discovery (if they are honest with themselves) and I live to be on the spot when they discover How and Why the Lord has made them. Those moments redeem and restore me. I am thankful to the Lord every day for the students He has allowed me to ‘live along side of’.
I pray every day that the Church will awaken to the needs of this student generation…we could do nothing more important.
What is your ringtone? some spanish guitar music…I set my wife’s ring tone on my phone to be Blood, Sweat & Tears “You make me so very happy”….sappy isn’t it…she thinks so.
When I have 30 minutes of free time, I pass the time by…run, swim, clean house, check ESPN
What is one of your favorite quote? “self-help is no answer to the depths of distress, however useful it may be in the shallows of self-pity” Derick Kidner
Who do you admire and why? more and more I admire my Dad. He is 87 yrs old and is activly caring for my mother (84yrs). He volunteers at least one day a week at the local hospital driving people to and from their cars in a golf cart. He is a true servant, loves people and loves God.
My favorite snack is…popcorn
The #1 song played on my iPod is…I run to the Passion:Awakening album…I really get going with “We know where the Spirit of the Lord is”

Ways to Pray for David:
- To remain persistant in noticing and affirming how God is at work, remain persistant in sharpening my listening skills, remain persistant in desiring to discover more about how to walk in obedience, and to remain ‘at rest’ about all of my tomorrows.
