Student Leaders Meet to Develop Their Leadership Skills:
This week 82 student leaders from BSM’s in Texas are gathered in Waco at Truett Seminary and the Baylor Bobo Spiritual Life Center for the Lead Team Summit to develop & cultivate their leadership skills. Students will listen and interact with Tim Elmore of Growing Leaders as he leads discussions on his Habitudes: Images that Form Leadership Habits and Attitudes. They will also put into action what they have learned by developing Abide encounters for our ABIDE prayer retreat at the end of January.
These leaders were selected by their directors and college ministers because
of their outstanding leadership on campus to participate in a year long leadership training program through Texas Baptist Student Ministry. Throughout the year these leaders will particpate and represent BSM at Texas Baptist events. The goal of the Student Lead Team is to “equip Texas college students to be bearers of the Gospel message, teachers of Biblical truth, and developers of God’s Kingdom for now and for the future.”
Join us in praying that these students will encounter God during the Lead Team Summit.
